How to Lose Weight Fast

Let me tell you my story about weight loss and the Guide I used to Lose Weight Fast
In my younger years I was always extremly active, Bike riding, swimming, canoeing, jet ski-ing, snow ski-ing, scuba diving etc, but as time went by and family life became more prominant I no longer had the money to continue pursuing my favourite pass times.
I became a couch potatoe, always thinking about the way life was and getting stuck and ending up with very little energy after a days work to go out to exercise.
Working in the construction industry I felt that I was doing enough exercise every day, but this was the start of my demise. What I didn’t consider was my food intake during the day. It wasn’t even down to just my food intake, but also the type of food I was eating. Chinese and Indian Take-a-ways, McDonalds, KFC, Fish and Chips. Ok this looks a bit bad – I was eating home cooked food as well, but also snaking on crisps, chocolate and biscuites inbetween meals.
Because of my daily activity during my working day, Up and down ladders, digging, lifting etc etc, I never seemed to gain weight – I thought I was immune to the whole weight gain syndrome…..How Wrong Could I be.
I have never been, shall we say, a small fram person…Only 5ft 10 but around 14 stone. But when I changed my Job and become office based I saw the weight pile on. Within a relativly short period of time I was up to 16 stone…. My Clothes had become tight and uncomfortable to wear…. One day I heard my phone ringing in the office upstairs. I ran up the stairs – to my disbelieve and panic I was severly out of breath. I was now up to 18 stone and felt every pound of it.
However – I still did nothing about it. I lived with my weight gain, and became less healthy week by week. I read articles in the magazines and in the papers every week about how to lose weight fast and thought it was just a load of hype.
But One Day!!!! The whole issue hit me like a train. I was in the garden watching my 2 daughters playing. Kicking the football and running round having a great time. The most degrading thought came into my head when they asked me to come and play with them…. I honestly said to myself ‘I cant be bothered’, made up some excuse saying I had to do some work and walked in doors. I felt terrible… No more than that – I was disgusted with my self. These were my 2 little girls and their fat dad couldn’t be bothered to play with them. How must that make them feel. I felt that I had let them down.
I didn’t want to be an embarresment to them. I didn’t want to be the Fat sweaty dad at the school gate, I didn’t want them to be teased at school. I felt unfit to be role model for them…. I was gutted.
It was on this day that everything changed. I started following some basic guidelines to weigh loss and with in no time the weight started to fall off. I’m now back down a weight that I can’t ever remember being – Less than 14 Stone, have gone from a size 40 inch waist to a 34inch waist and feel more alive than ever. I’m not saying that I have a Brad Pitt Six Pack, but I feel health and my 2 daughters are proud of what I have achived.

I know play with my girls every night, we go swimming twice a week, I have got off the couch and visit the gym 3 times per week and feel better than I have ever felt.
