HP Gaming PC

In the previous article we discussed about a really powerful gaming computer made by Acer, and now we’ll discuss more about a HP gaming PC.

The model made by Acer had a really unusual design, and a name suited for video games (Predator), and it’s the same with the gaming computer made by HP: it has a really interesting design, and it is called The Firebird.

Now there are 2 different configurations available, and we’ll discuss a little about both of them – the Firebird with Voodoo DNA 802 that has a price of 1,799 dollars and also the Firebird with Voodoo DNA 803 which costs 2,099 dollars. So now let’s look at the features of the first model. It comes with the 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 processor with 6 MB L 2 cache and with 4 GB 800 MHz DDR 2 SDRAM memory. Its graphics card is the 512 MB Nvidia GeForce 9800 S, and there are two of them in the computer. There are also 2 hard drives, each one with a capacity of 250 GB and 5400 rpm. So you will have a total capacity of 500 GB. Its optical drive is a Dual layer DVD burner and it also comes with an installed version of the Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64 bit. It also has Gigabit Ethernet and integrated audio. Even though it has a similar price to the Acer gaming PC that we mentioned in the previous article, it has much weaker features. But this is because the HP model is from 2009, while the Acer Predator is a brand new model from 2010.

And now let’s see the features for the Firebird with Voodoo DNA 803, which costs 2,100 dollars. It has a slightly better processor – the 2.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q 9400 with 12 MB L 2 cache and the same RAM memory of 4 GB 800 MHz DDR 2 SDRAM. It also has 2 x 512 MB Nvidia GeForce 9800 S graphics cards and two hard drives. But each one has 320 GB, so the total capacity will be bigger – 640 GB and 5400 rpm. The optical drive of this model is better, and it also has Blu-ray support. It also has an installed operating system – the Windows Vista Home Premium SP 1 64 bit but better connectivity – Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11 b / g / n wireless. And finally its sound card is also better, and it has the Creative Labs X-Fi Mini PCI audio card.

So here were 2 of the HP gaming PC-s, and in case you own one of these models, we invite you to tell us all about them, about the way they work, and about the video games that you played on them. Have a nice day!
